A Landmark in The Mountains
This restaurant is a landmark in Banff. It has been since 1928. Runners have likely heard of Melissa’s Road Race, a 10k and 22k run held every September with proceeds going to community programs and sponsored by this popular establishment. This place sports a restaurant and lounge, as well as banquet facilities for up to 150 people.

Early Days
There are numerous breakfast, lunch and dinner items available at Melissa’s, so if you are staying in the Banff town site, you can literally eat every meal here if you want. Try out a sirloin steak and eggs for breakfast, or perhaps an omelette that is made with three eggs and served with multi-grain toast. There are also waffles, a corned beef hash meal, and plenty of other options.

Big Meals
If you can’t get there in time to enjoy their large breakfast menu, don’t worry, the large lunch and dinner menu is sure to have something to satisfy your appetite. The lunch menu includes a number of egg dishes, steak and seafood, sandwiches and burgers. In the evening, you can enjoy decadent seafood items such as escargots, rainbow trout, lobster and a number of steaks and burgers, pizza, and pasta. Wash it down with something from their extensive bar.

Lounge Around
The 2nd floor bar at Melissa’s features plenty of televisions, darts, a pool table, and for the thirsty folks, Happy Hour runs from 4:30 pm – 7 pm daily. The bar can be booked in advance for special occasions.
