Millarville Rodeo
For a decade the Foothills Cowboy Association Rodeo has featured traditional training for such events as bull riding, steer wrestling, saddle and bareback bronc riding, barrel racing and calf roping. In addition to the annual rodeo there are often special events held by the Society, such as a western trade show, Friday night family night and a Saturday night dance. The year round facilities allow members to ride their horses indoors no matter what the weather.

Canada Day
With a low admission cost, the annual Running of the Millarville Races is a fun event for the whole family. It features the Millarville Derby, a seven-furlong race featuring modern-day cowboys, farmers and local acreage owners and their stock horses under a western saddle. The event also features the “country mile race” in which people race twice around the horse track, on semi packed dirt, many wearing old fashioned clothing styles from 1905 to 1910.

August Fair
In 1907, the people of Millarville and Priddis decided they should have an agricultural fair, which remains to this day one of Canada's pre-eminent traditional fairs with thousands of displays and competitors. There is lots to do and see, including displays, livestock competitions and art, flowers, cooking, crafts, sewing, equestrian and cattle shows.

Farmers Market
Every Saturday morning from June until October over 160 vendors arrive at the racetrack to offer their wares. From 8:30 a.m. to noon shop for original gifts, fresh produce and incredible food. Fantastic finds can be found throughout. Each November the agricultural grounds also offer a special three-day Christmas market.
