Moose McGuire’s is located in Calgary’s northwest near the University of Calgary, and offers an off-campus location for starving students to gather and complain about their work loads. Unlike other student pubs, McGuire’s is also frequented by loyal local regulars, who find the students to be only a minor distraction.

Hang Out
Relax with friends, watch the big game and enjoy some delicious pub food complimented by a wide selection of beers. As well, Moose McGuire’s close proximity to McMahon Stadium makes it a great place to celebrate after watching the Stampeders dominate their home field. The atmosphere of the pub is traditional and relaxed, and there is a large selection of different beers in bottles and on tap. They also feature many different single malt Scotches for the connoisseur.

Munchies or a Meal
Whether you would like a full meal or some munchies with your beer, Moose McGuire’s has a wide ranging menu with lots of hearty, tasty choices. There’s the usual assortment of pub goodies, including a variety of wings, huge plates of nachos, and bowls of peanuts are consistently being devoured, resulting in a floor covered with crunchy shells. There are also a few different juicy burger concoctions to pick from, savoury steaks, and salads, including a classic Thai Chicken if you’re looking for something a little lighter.
