This centrally located gem is Calgary’s only restaurant specializing in Himalayan foods. Suiting a mild, moderate or spicy palate, there is something for everyone here. Here they are continually searching out new additions to add to their already interesting menu.
Cumin, Garlic & Ginger Oh My!
Menu items include chicken or lamb sizzling dishes prepared in a clay oven, Birayani (basmati rice with Nepalese fixings), flat breads, kebabs, a lentil dahl, noodles, some seafood and a number of selections for vegetarians. Tempt your taste buds with ingredients complimented with Nepalese spices, cumin, garlic, onion, ginger, saffron and sesame taking you from West to East.

Calgary’s, Dave Rodney, who has climbed to the summit of Mt. Everest twice is a regular at Mt. Everest’s Kitchen.
