Romantic Spot
Muse is lighted by candles and has warm tones of beige, magenta and cherry wood. There is an exotic, playful yet subtle circus motif throughout and with the subdued lighting and plush seating a very sophisticated air prevails. Music is soft and jazzy early in the evening, later becoming more up-beat light house electro which favours the lounge crowd after 10 p.m. There are three levels, including two bars and a fireplace. A chef’s table available for booking and it seats up to 10 people.
Le Menu (Oui, Oui!)
Offering contemporary French cuisine with a twist, the menu changes seasonally and often features duck, lamb, pheasant, steak, seafood and Alberta ‘AAA’ beef. Desserts range from lavender creme brulée to Janice Beaton cheese selection with homemade preserve. Keep in mind when dining at this popular establishment, reservations are highly recommended and there is a dress code of business casual.
