Serving the best Chinese cuisine at reasonable prices has been the agenda of The New Dynasty Restaurant since opening in 1994. Satisfaction is ensured at the midday buffet from 11:30 a.m. through 2:30 p.m., whether it’s for a business lunch, social meet-up, or weekend indulgence. A dinner buffet, which includes seafood, begins at 5 p.m. each evening, and Friday through Sunday nights allow for even more decadent eating. Free home delivery or take-out meals are also available, encompassing all the items on the New Dynasty’s vast food menu.
Dozens of Options
There are over 200 items that can be ordered at New Dynasty, starting with appetizers like crispy fried won ton, grilled pork dumplings or a shredded chicken and jellyfish cold plate. Sizzling rice dishes are mixed with shrimp or beef and tomato, beef or chicken and mixed vegetables, or hot and sour flavouring. Soups range from won ton to beef and tomato egg drop, along with several types of shark’s fin soup. Seafood dishes fall under several classifications: Abalone, lobster and crab, prawns, squid and scallop, oyster and mussels. Fish dishes include steamed cod fillet garnished with ham and Chinese mushrooms and steamed sea bass with ginger and spring onion.
Good Stuff Guaranteed
Chicken comes in a wide range of configurations at New Dynasty: Ginger fried shredded, deep-fried crispy, pineapple sweet and sour – and 20 more. There’s also Peking or braised duck, beef and pork sliced and sautéed in a wide range of flavours and vegetable and tofu dishes to satisfy every diet. There are hot plates and hot pots, curry and rice entrees, and noodle styles from Cantonese to Shanghai to E-Fu. Candied apple, banana or chilled lychee nuts comprise the dessert options. And ordering one of the dinners for two, four or six makes the selection process convenient, for a meal where sharing adds to the taste experience.
