You will get all of the quality Chinese cuisine here that you would expect to get just a few blocks south in Chinatown, but without all the parking headaches and big crowds. The atmosphere may not be quite as authentic as their neighbour restaurants across the bridge, but they make up for it with their friendly service and speedy cooking. Look for them on the east side of Centre Street, just a couple blocks south of the TransCanada.
Life Made Simple
If you live in the area you will be happy to know that these folks deliver. If you work downtown and live anywhere in the northern half of the city, they are on your way out, so it will be easy to pick up your grub yourself if you are not within their delivery area. The restaurant is fully licensed and can accommodate large groups if given sufficient time to prepare.
An All Chinese Menu
You can pick out your favourites here, or you can choose from one of the sumptuous meals that are always popular. The dinner for four comes with war wonton soup, ginger beef, sweet and sour pork and mixed veggies. Servers and the kitchen are pretty easy going and don’t mind the odd substitution, either. Just don’t forget to make sure you get your fortune cookie on the way out, it’s always nice to know what’s in store for tomorrow.
