The Big Picture
Oceana is privately owned and operated by a couple of local businessman with Greek roots and more than 40 years combined experience in the restaurant industry. Formerly located on 4th street SW, Oceana has been a Calgary favourite for nearly a decade, opening at its new address in Eau Claire in the fall of 2006. Although surroundings have changed, the taste and quality remain constant, treating Calgarians to a generous offering of fresh fish dishes as well as Alberta’s best AAA Sterling Silver beef. Oceana’s is also a popular lounge and bar for the after-work crown and those lucky enough to live in the area.
Food and Fun
Oceana is open for lunch and dinner daily and features the largest selection of fresh fish and seafood in the city. On the Oceana menu there is Arctic char, orange roughy, Atlantic Salmon, pickerel, halibut and ahi tuna, as well as lobster, crab, shrimp, oysters and scallops. Meat lovers will delight in the many cuts and variations of AAA Alberta beef. In the lounge, Oceana presents live jazz music every Saturday night. Oceana also hosts private functions up to 120 guests.

Oceana is perfectly situated in the Eau Claire district on the edge of Prince’s Island Park, overlooking bustling park pathways and the scenic Bow River banks. In the warm months, Oceana’s patio is the best seat in town. Indoors, Oceana has a wonderful ambiance, decorated with vibrant earthy colours and lots of natural wood accents. There are two big stone fireplaces and plenty of tables, including cozy intimate clamshell booths. A great place for a special date night!
