Size and Atmosphere
The Pig & Whistle is large enough to seat up to 240 customers at one time. They are also the only pub in the neighbourhood with live entertainment on a regular basis. Since 1994, customers have been coming to the Pig & Whistle for the service and the atmosphere. This fun, lively establishment has 80s and 90s bands live every Friday and Saturday night, and Karaoke every Wednesday evening.
Games and Such
To keep their patrons happy and more than occupied, the Pig & Whistle has pool tables, VLTs, ten televisions, three of which are big screens, as well as Golden Tee and Buck Hunter. For something out of the ordinary, show up Thursday for Jamaoki, which is a twist on Karaoke, where patrons jam with a live band instead of a machine. Friends and family can come along and groove to the tunes on the dance floor.
Food and Drink
The menu at this pub is diverse. There are healthy meals, salads such as the classic Caesar, Greek, and Chef’s, as well as steaks, pastas, wings, nachos, and pot stickers. They also have a daily soup and sandwich special. At the Pig & Whistle, they serve up a full liquor menu including martinis, there’s a selection of 12 beers on tap, highballs, cocktails and an array of bottled beers and coolers.
