Under the Sea
Red Lobster is an American chain of over 600 restaurants across the U.S. and Canada, catering towards casual diners and families with a taste for marine food. The chain was founded in Florida, 1968. While their menu predominantly contains seafood items like shrimp and lobster, they also offer non-seafood entrees, appetizers, salads and desserts for the odd-man-out family members. Red Lobster has a menu for lunch and dinner with a wide range of seafood options and there are always special seasonal menus and the diet-friendly Light House menu to peruse as well.

Surfing and Turfing
Entrees include Canadian snow crab legs served with melted butter, stuffed maritime lobster served with broccoli, rice and cheese stuffing, crunchy popcorn shrimp with fries and coleslaw and traditional favourites like haddock and chips and stuffed sole. They have five pastas, including the east coast shrimp linguini, which comes with shrimp, scallops and crawfish and the non-seafood chicken and spinach alfredo. Hungry guests might want to try one of five surf & turf steak and seafood combinations like steak and rock lobster Tail or they could create their own hearty feast by picking two or three core items from a substantial list.

Just for the Cheddar Bay Biscuits
Aside from its signature seafood, Red Lobster is known for their signature Cheddar Bay biscuits, which come free to patrons who order an entrée. They are baked with a preblended biscuit mix and cheddar cheese, and then brushed with a buttery sauce. They also offer over 10 appetizers including fresh PEI mussels, escargot, lobster pizza and garlic-grilled jumbo shrimp and six desserts like the notorious warm fudge overboard brownie.
