A Hotel With History
It may have been around a long time, since 1912 in fact, but that doesn’t mean it has to look like it. The Regis has gone through continual renovations and updates to ensure that it is as comfortable and has all of the modern amenities that guests expect when they visit Calgary. At the same time, the hotel has maintained much of its historic characteristics that make it unique, with much of the original brass work and woodwork restored to its former glory.

A few of the amenities at the Regis Plaza include in-house laundry facilities, movie rentals, email access and fax services, a liquor store, complimentary morning coffee and muffins and oversized bathtubs and showers. The hotel tavern features live entertainment Thursday through Friday and The Avenue Grill is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

If you are heading to Calgary on business, you will have trouble finding somewhere more convenient to stay at than the Regis Plaza Hotel. They are located in the heart of downtown and across the street from the Telus Convention Centre, the Performing Arts Centre and Olympic Plaza is next door. Within a block or two you will find the famous Calgary Tower, the Glenbow Museum and Chinatown. The location offers easy access to the Calgary Zoo, the Stampede Grounds, casinos and more. If you would rather not rent a vehicle while in town, the Regis Plaza is located alongside the C-Train line, making it easy to get to whatever area of Calgary you want.
