Profile Last Updated: October 01, 2008
For an eco-store that strives to be your neighbourhood general store, Riva’s Eco Store’s goal is to inspire and educate people about eco-sustainability. The greenness of Riva’s rivals regular shops: it’s good for people and good for the environment. This eco-store opened their doors to the public in February 2008, and is right on the dot about Calgary’s conscious effort to do the right thing by the environment.
Neighbourhood General Store
This friendly neighbourhood store is quite unique, as everything it carries is basically organic. From sunglasses, fashion items, baby’s clothes, bedding, office and home supplies like flooring, and even home insulation, Riva’s contents can rival those of many Uptown 17th Avenue locations. Fashion need not be boring either, as Riva’s clothing selection is both fashionable and hip, while at the same time saves the earth’s finite resources.
Fun, Fashionable, Educational
Like most Uptown stores, Riva’s strives to be fun and fashionable, while also being educational. It’s a happy place where natural light streams through large windows that line this two storey shop. So come in and see why Riva’s is generating news and reviews.
