Country Atmosphere Near the City
Experience the fresh country air in a relaxed atmosphere with breathtaking views of the Rocky Mountains. River's Edge Golf Club is an 18-hole facility located 12 minutes south of the Calgary city limits, on the northern side of the sheep river. Every golfer can experience the challenges and fun that golf has to offer. See for yourself as you visit River's Edge Golf Club and play their signature 9th hole, nicknamed Waterworld. Waterworld is a 184 yard hole featuring an island green surrounded by 360 degrees of blue terror, a true island green.
Unique Green
There was a ten-year gap between construction on the south and north nine, creating a unique eighteen-hole design. The south nine was opened in 1994, and the north opened in 2004. The result is a blend of traditional links style holes. Overall the green offers 5300 to 7000 yards of playing space, receiving good reviews from the golfers who have headed west in search of new terrain.

Rivers Edge Golf Club offers a 6,000 square foot non-smoking clubhouse with high definition televisions to watch PGA tour events.
