Just walking distance from Calgary’s office and business district, Rush Hour opened its doors in October 2006. Rush Hour is a perfect way to organize a lunch meeting, an evening on the town, even after a busy day at the office. They’ve got a restaurant lounge area and a sports bar with television and the kind of easy listening music after a stressful day in the corporate world.
The Original Honey’s pizzas
Rush Hour specializes in pizzas, with over 23 years experience in pizza making. Some of their favourite items include sacchetini carbonara, cranberry meatballs, red and white clam chowder, grilled chicken sandwich and the ubiquitous pizza. You can also order chicken wraps and Thai, Curry and Caesar Salads. Their menu goes well with their any of their mainstay drinks, including beer, highballs or even wine. Rush Hour changes menus with the season, so expect fresh takes on their menu come summer or winter time.
Patio room even when it rains
This bar and grill can accommodate 160 people comfortably, whether in the well-lit restaurant lounge or the darker sports bar where one can watch TV while drinking beer. They’ve got a well-stocked very masculine looking bar, and a roofed patio that can sit 40 people even when it rains. This place is pretty upscale, being located left and centre of the business district.
