Silver Dragon Restaurant is located on the top floor of a three-storey building set along the main street in Banff. The dining room is skylit and has a number of tables situated by large windows that overlook Banff Avenue and give diners some spectacular mountain vistas as they enjoy the steady, reliable service and menu that has long been associated with the place. The restaurant is a sister establishment to the venerable Silver Dragon located in Chinatown in Calgary.
The Menu Features Lots of Choices of Cantonese and Peking Cuisine
The menu at Silver Dragon will appear familiar to many patrons, containing as it does a wide variety of traditional Chinese dishes. Start with appetizers like spring rolls, dry spareribs, grilled pork and vegetable dumplings, and salt and pepper seafoods. Soup dishes include hot and sour, won ton, and noodle.
A Large Offering of Main Courses
The menu at Silver Dragon contains all of the favourite Chinese dishes, including Peking duck, duck slices with pineapple and ginger, cashew nut chicken, hot palace chicken, ginger fried beef, pineapple sweet and sour chicken balls, special crispy chicken, and curry boneless chicken hot pot. Meat choices include beef with oyster sauce, Mongolian beef, and beef with black pepper sauce on a hot plate.
