A Natural Setting
Siraia is situated just south of Spruce Meadows, just far enough out of the city to offer a country setting. Large windows allow for sunny natural lighting and expansive views, enhancing the modern décor inside. Siraia is open for upscale casual dinners and Sunday brunch.
Good Taste
The food at Siraia can be considered upscale without being pretentious or extravagant. The menu was developed by consultant Chef Michael Noble of Catch Restaurant (and who made an appearance on Iron Chef), and Chef Guy Leggatt, whose many credits include a stint with Chef Gordon Ramsay. The kitchen, run by Leggatt, is stocked with locally-sourced produce to ensure freshness. This all adds up to a dinner menu made for Calgarians, featuring items like chipotle barbecue glazed lamb ribs, wonton prawns, Angus beef burgers, bison ribs and spaghetti Bolognese. A notable wine list complements menu offerings. Finish your meal with a sweet treat like a warm macadamia nut brownie with caramelized bananas and caramel gelato, or stilton cheesecake. Siraia employs a full-time pastry chef that handcrafts such creations.
