The Calgary Tower's Sky 360 Revolving Restaurant is found at the top of Calgary's most famous and identifiable physical landmark, which opened on June 30, 1968. Since then, countless tourists, as well as Calgarians, have considered the restaurant a sightseeing must, especially since it is open every day of the year. All tables, with seating for up to 176 people, enjoy an unrestricted view through large, tinted windows.
Stay for dessert
There are many different items to choose from, depending on your tastes. Plenty of seafood dishes line the menu, as well as beef, duck, chicken and sometimes buffalo. Don’t forget to feed your sweet tooth when here, there are always a number of decadent desserts on the list. You may want to try out the warm almond pound cake or the classic banana split.
Mixing Food and Romance
Breakfast, brunch and dinner can be found on the restaurant's international menu, which covers everything from steak to seafood. But it's the view, not the food that puts this restaurant on a pedestal of its own. This establishment is very romantic and perfect for a Valentine’s Day dinner or something special any day of the week. And don't worry about motion sickness working on a full tummy. Motion is virtually imperceptible as it takes one hour for a complete revolution.
