The Location
Located in the community of Highland Park, Springcreek B&B is only a short distance from Deerfoot Trail, the main road north and south from Calgary. Deerfoot Trail gives easy access to the Calgary International Airport for arrivals and departures, and it is also the starting point for a variety of attractions that might take visitors on daytrips. The Royal Tyrrell Museum of Paleontology, with its extensive collection of dinosaur fossils and exhibits, is a popular destination. Likewise is Head Smashed in Buffalo Jump to the south. The restaurants, shops, and sightseeing of downtown Calgary are easily reached from this location. The hosts are long-time residents of the area and are always happy to discuss potential destinations with guests.
The Rooms
There are two rooms for rent in the bed and breakfast. The Sunrise Room is spacious, yet cozy, and has its own ensuite bathroom. The Sunset Room is even larger, has a separate private bathroom, and also boasts a balcony where guests can greet the morning with a cup of coffee and the splendid views around Calgary. The facility is no smoking, and pets are not allowed. Parking is available on location or on the street adjacent to the residence.

Guests have their choice of breakfast menus. You can opt for a hearty cooked meal with all the trimmings, or a simpler continental breakfast with an emphasis on fruits, juices, and freshly baked items. A spiral staircase leads from the bedrooms to a sitting room and library where patrons are invited to brew a cup of tea, read a book, watch TV, and otherwise relax after a hectic day.
