St. Vivian’s Irish Pub is named after the patron saint of hangovers and single women. Located in the heart of Calgary’s McKenzie Towne, St. Vivian’s is known for its easygoing clientele and amiable musical vibes. On weekends you’ll find live local bands, open jams and even karaoke. There are specials for Flames games and a patio for those warmer days. While bright and inviting, you can still get cozy in a booth, with some featuring their own private TV.
Healthy pub grub
Say “cheers” with the local and Irish beers on tap at St. Vivian’s and the menu’s healthy approach to pub fare. Dishes feature whole grain breads and wraps, salads and lean meats. Tempt your palate by trying popular choices such as the Portobello beef dip, the Guinness fish and chips and the Irish whiskey steak sandwich. There are food and drinks specials every day, including nights for wings, pork bites, steak and cheap breakfasts. Feel better about taking it “to-go” as St. Vivian’s offers take-out in enviro-friendly, biodegradable containers.
