A Legend of Sorts
The very first White Spot opened its doors in 1928. Of course, it was a different White Spot than what you see around the city today, in fact it was a drive in and it was in Vancouver, but it set the pace and the standards for what has become one of Western Canada’s most popular family restaurants. They continue to hold onto the tradition of being a family spot where friends and loved ones can hang out in a casual yet classy environment while eating quality cuisine.
On the Menu
The White Spot features breakfast, lunch, dinner and kid’s menus. For your midday meal, why not try one of their Bigger Burgers or a stirfry. There are plenty of wraps, sandwiches, salads, steaks and more on the lunch menu here, all priced between $8 and $17. Dinner time brings out even more. There is the Original “Beef Dipper” with piled roast beef on a panini loaf and served with au jus, creamy coleslaw and ‘endless fries.’ For something classic, they have the Roast Turkey Dinner with all the fixings. Pastas, steaks, chicken entrées and of course their famous burgers are all on the dinner menu. Take out is available and the restaurants are fully licensed.

The White Spot’s Pirate Paks are always a huge favourite with the 10 and under crowd. These uniquely packaged dinners are perfect for the picky eaters. Kids will be too busy fussing over their very own ‘pirate ship’ to get into trouble. Kids get to choose from a number of entrées including the always popular Ham & Pineapple Pizza Sub and the Macaroni and Cheese.
