If you have never had it before you are in for something special. Made from milk, sugar and natural flavours, gelato is the Italian equivalent of ice cream. The process by which it is made leaves the gelato very thick and creamy with very little air content. In comparison to your average ice cream, gelato should taste even richer, creamier and full of flavour. It comes in a variety of flavours – anything fruity being the main theme. If you are having one of those days and need some comfort food, don’t worry, chocolate gelato is always a big seller and they know this at Tutti Frutti. You can get your selection in one of three different sizes of cups, in a sugar cone for a tad more sweetness, or in a take out container so that you can share it or simply have more for yourself.
Coffee Grinding
Tutti Fruitti goes beyond the gelato and offers their customers a number of specialty coffees as well. They have everything from your traditional dark brew to cappuccino and espresso. One of their specialty coffees goes down well and warms you up after a frosty gelato. If you would like to combine the two anyhow, why not try the affogato. This coffee-based dessert takes your gelato and douses it with espresso for a unique and very pleasing combination. Think of it as the Italian version of warm apple pie and ice cream – just with more caffeine.
