Dine By Candlelight
In the evenings, the wooden chairs, tables, and leather booths are lit by candles and the fireplace, giving the restaurant a warm, inviting feeling. Children are welcome, although they shouldn’t be allowed to run around here. Van Gogh Grill & Bar opened their doors in Valley Ridge in 2001, much to the delight of neighbourhood patrons. They have developed quite a following in the area, with many regulars stopping by all the time.
A Not So Classic Menu
Classic Mediterranean tastes are part of the program at Van Gogh. There are selections such as souvlaki on the menu, as well as hummus and pitas for dipping. On the western side of things, there are salads, burgers, and minestrone soup. They haven’t forgotten to add all of the pub favourites to your menu here though, and there are plenty of wings, nachos and pizzas on the menu. Take-out is available if you want some of their fine fare to go.
A Great Place For Drinks
Van Gogh Grill & Bar is a great place to meet friends for a few drinks, and they have a full bar if you are looking for cocktails or wine. Sports are usually shown on the televisions that are scattered throughout the building, and this is a great place to come if you want to catch a Flames game over a few beers.
