Yamnuska Mountain Adventures is named after a nearby well-known, flat faced mountain called Yamnuska. Operating for over 30 years, Yamnuska Mountain Adventures offers ongoing instruction including: Ice Climbing, Ice Climbing Guide Service, Avalanche Safety Courses, Back Country Skiing, 3-month Mountaineering & Outdoor Leadership Semester, Hiking Trips & Hiking Guide Service, and Wilderness First Aid.
Hut To Hut Traverse and Fly-In Programs
Yamnuska operates in all four seasons with a focus on mountaineering, rock climbing and hiking in the summer. During the winter, the focus is on ski mountaineering, avalanche training and ice climbing. Programs can be tailored to your skill level from beginner to expert. Fantastic hut-to-hut traverse and fly-in programs are offered and led by certified and experienced guides. Arrangements can be made to accommodate private or group instruction.
