Techniques and Classes
Yoga Mandala offers three main yoga practices with a variety of classes offered in each. ashtanga yoga is a traditional dynamic flow form of yoga, founded on the teachings of Shri K Pattabhi Jois. This technique marries physical asanas, flowing vinyasas, and focused steady breathing (ujjayi) to create a graceful balance of strength and flexibility, movement and stillness, foundation and lightness. vinyaza flow yoga is a modern yoga style borne out of traditional ashtanga yoga. This practice is set unique music compilations, and instead of being meditative and repetitive, vinyaza flow tends to offer more variety and fun. Restorative Yoga is all about restoring one’s energy and balance. This technique offers nurturing physical asanas along with a multitude of mind-calming practices. Healing and wholeness are common side effects. Class in all of the above yoga styles are varied and abundant.
