Located in the revitalized community of Victoria Park, Zia’s Enoteca is another member among the Calgarian wine bar revolution. Zia’s historic building is made modern with a décor that includes a massive granite top bar, dark wood paneling and bright natural lighting -- adding up to an atmosphere that is both chic and yet casual. As any self-respecting wine bar, Zia’s offers a large selection of wines from which to choose. In fact, their temperature-controlled wine room displays 730 bottles. Guests can order by the bottle or glass, of course, but they can also order by 2oz pours, which allows a larger variety of wine to be sampled. Zia’s also specializes in “flights”, which are three or four 2-oz pours of a variety of wines by varietals or geographical regions.
