Sleeping Buffalo
Nestled on the slopes of Tunnel Mountain, which was named "Sleeping Buffalo" by the area’s native peoples many generations ago, Buffalo Mountain Lodge pays homage to its natural surroundings with its simple design and old-world craftsmanship. You Won’t Want To Leave
Buffalo Mountain Lodge offers 108 guest rooms each with its own balcony or patio (except the one-bedroom suites, you'll have to make due without) private bath, and fireplace with complimentary firewood that is restocked daily. What the one bedroom suite does offer that the other rooms don't is a separate living area away from the bedroom. With a small kitchenette that has a microwave, stovetop and fridge you have enough facilities at your disposal you don't even need to leave your room to get dinner. Both the one-bedroom suite and the premier room come equipped with an oversize bathroom with slate floors, separate shower stall, pedestal sink and a unique cast iron claw footed bathtub to soak in after a long day of skiing and/or hiking.

Stay Fit and Stay In Touch
For those who are so inclined, Buffalo Mountain Lodge offers a fitness room, which is open 24 hours a day. Aside from the usual exercise equipment the facility also has a steam room, a new outdoor stainless steel hot tub and, of course, change rooms with towels, showers and lockers. If you need to stay in touch with the outside world when you're not out enjoying the outside world yourself, they offer high-speed Internet connections in all the guest rooms. The Business Centre has a personal computer, printer, and photocopier for people who may be on a working holiday.
