Former Writing Room
In the days before the internet, hotels and luxury cruise liners retained a place where guests could read or write or send off letters while on vacation. The Grapes Wine Bar in the Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel was first used as a writing room in the roaring 1920s, and while it retains that rustic charm of another era, guests and company can now enjoy wine and perfect wine pairings.
Rustic yet elegant
The Grapes Wine Bar, like most of Fairmont Banff Springs, exudes an “other world charm, a place that has stood the test of time, which is why the Grapes Wine Bar is the best place to get away from it all for an hour or two. Whether for a couple or a cozy group, one can sample international, specialty wines or Canadian wines perfectly paired with either a three course meal, or tapas selections of cheeses, salads, fruits and more. The Grapes Wine Bar also has dessert selections on hand.
Intimate Spaces
The Grapes Wine Bar is located on the mezzanine level 2 of the Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel. It is an intimate setting where one can sip wine and make short talk, yet intimate enough for small groups. Like most of Banff, guests can come in casual resort gear.
