Time for a Cup of Kawa
Kawa is Polish for coffee, and at Calgary’s new Kawa Espresso Bar they take coffee very seriously. Opening in 2008, Kawa pays great attention to the quality of their coffee: they use only fine imported coffee beans and they have skilled baristas on staff. At Kawa Espresso Bar coffee is also a culinary art, and they serve many of their drinks decorated with latte art (which refers to patterns made in the foam that tops espresso drinks).
Coffee and More
Kawa Espresso Bar offers a variety of espresso drinks and brewed coffees; they also serve many teas and bottled beverages. Kawa serves over forty kinds of beer, with selections from international breweries. They offer European vodkas and they have a wine list. Kawa Espresso Bar offers bagged coffee beans, as well as dry teas and brewing presses. Kawa also arranges gift baskets that you can purchase online and then pick up at the store.
