Get out of the city for an afternoon and take in a round at this quiet course. This facility is everything that a true country golf should be. The nine-hole public course is reasonably priced, making for an affordable afternoon of golf for families and groups of friends. Only a short drive from Calgary, the Oxbow is set up for beginners, and is an excellent resource for folks wanting to learn the game.
The low down
Golf club rentals, carts, and lessons are available. There is a practice area with a manicured putting green and a driving range equipped with mats. For regular golfers, there are men’s and ladies’ leagues that run throughout the summer, and a frequent golfer program is available. Each tee has three sets of boxes for different levels of play. The facility holds a number of special events throughout the season such as their Nine and Dine Special, and their Take a Kid to the Course Week.

The clubhouse is built in the shape of a country barn. There are three separate rooms may be rented for private functions, or relaxed in by individuals after a round. The rooms include the Oxbow Loft, the Screened Patio Meeting Room, and the Main Clubhouse.
