The Spray Valley Provincial Park is part of Kanaskis Country, an area of more than 4,000 square kilometres of protected Canadian Rocky Mountain wilderness. As it borders the Banff National Park, it offers visitors access to some of North America’s most breathtaking views and pristine natural areas.
Year Round Access
Six camping sites offer year round access. They are specifically designed to have a low impact on the surroundings providing lots of opportunity for wildlife viewing, hiking and cross-country skiing. There are a number of backcountry camping sites for the hardy who want to really explore what the park has to offer. The list of activities seems endless. They include; hiking, cycling, boating, golfing, and horseback riding, fishing and skiing. There are plenty of wildflowers to enjoy, showing off in breathtaking displays.
Abundant Wildlife
There is a wide diversity of wildlife, from trumpeter swans to grizzly bears. Watch for elk, deer, moose, bighorn sheep and mountain goats. This rugged park comes packed with natural beauty that will keep you coming back.
