Kate Hammett-Vaughn has worked hard to establish herself among connoisseurs as one of the country's best jazz vocalists. Working around the reputations of better known Canadian jazz songstresses like Diana Krall and Holly Cole, Hammett-Vaughn keeps something of a low profile and performs in mostly smaller venues.

While Hammett-Vaughn provides the amazing vocal stylings, she is accompanied by some of Canada's greatest jazz musicians. Her quintet includes Chris Gestrin piano, André Lachance bass, Tom Foster drums and James Danderfer clarinet.
