Haida artist Robert Davidson has generously donated a new sculpture to MOA. Titled yaahl kingnganggang (Raven Calling), the five-foot-high artwork is made of epoxy-powder-coated aluminum, and has recently returned to Vancouver after being shown in the Museum of Anthropology’s touring exhibition, Robert Davidson: The Abstract Edge, at the National Gallery of Canada. Look for it on the ramp leading into the Great Hall.
